FOOD
leisure activities for the thai local :)
as the local in Thailand lead a simple and carefree life therefore their leisure activities are not very interesting but they do have a very good bonding within the in the family.
for example on a weekend, after a hectic week of work.
they would go marketing, cooking and making traditional thai snacks.
Yeah this is the Wet Market in Thailand near my house
Well, it does not look as clean as Singapore but I bet with you that the supplies are fresh and cheap!!!!
I asked Mitsu to look around the market as it is totally different from Singapore..
but it seems that he is more interested in the snacks..
In Singapore, all your fishes that you get from the wet markets or supermarkets are mostly dead,
but for in Thailand, they are all alive!
All you need to do is select the fishes you want, and the seller will kill and clean them for you on the spot! Wow! Can you get any fresher than this?
The blue and black buckets have full of live fishes!
One basket for 15 bath, not even a dollar in Singapore!!!!
for those who eat out are mostly working adult or in relationship, as in thailand we believe that dinner is a very important meal. oh and eating out in thailand is not very cheap.
Our dinner at BBQ plaza! The food there is simply amazing, well that's what I think because it is my favorite restaurant.
As you can see, they have two pots on the table, one is for barbeque-ing and the other is for soup!!!
This is how the soup looks like; the soup is yummy!!!
BBQ Set
This is the soup set.
here is the street which u will fall in love with!!!! super cheap and good but no grantee safety tummy ,
thailand satay!!!

BBQ chicken wings!
these are the few food you can find anywhere anytime when you are hungry!
LODGING!!!!!!
This is the resort which you can rent.
You can do so if you want to have a get away and experience the olden days of Thailand.
this resort or house by the river has a high renting rate as many family in bangkok will come and rent it over the weekend to relax with their family.
This house look haunted to me >.<
We spotted another house for rent.
Shopping
I believe for those who have been following our blog. you would wonder why Thai people do not go shopping as often as usual.
When are Thai clothes and stuff are cheap?!
Well like I said, to a foreigner, it may be super cheap. but to Thai people, it may not be.

This picture above is the Siam Paragon. this shopping mall have everything that Singapore have expect the Merlion :)
As the Thais have bought over the concept,
you underwater world? We have it! Teh Ta Reh? You want to see the show? We have it!
This is the 'MBK', a popular shopping destination!!
This is the 'Central World'! We have a lot of shops inside but they are little high end shops,
so if you want to go there, better have your pocket filled with cash!
Oh they accept credits cards too :) ,
compared to MBK, some shop do not accept credit cards.

Encounter the Mother of all flea markets. Set on a sprawling 35-acre (68-rai) area just north of downtown Bangkok, Chatuchak Weekend Market has more than 8,000 stalls flaunting everything from rare books, handmade jewellery, spa essentials to Moroccan lamps, marionette dolls, exotic pets, and pretty much anything you can dream of. Its sheer size and diversity of merchandise will trump any other markets you have ever visited before. So brush up your haggling skill and be prepared to go home with more than a bag full of new-found ‘treasures’.
Here is the JJ market, which is only open on the weekend.
They sell things from pets to toiletries
. It is super cheap but they only cash!!!
If anyone wants to visit Bangkok, please go to JJ Market if not your shopping trip would be wasted!

And if you think that day shopping is too tiring, or shopping during the day is not enough you can visit
Patpong !!!!
Saphan Phut Night Market
Ratchada Night Bazaar
Trust me, you won't be disappointed! The night market are as good as the day market!!!!
Again here susu & pong :)
The Rose Garden!
The Rose Garden is actually a crocodile farm and has an Elephant Ride as well.
The Elephant Ride will be going through the Rose Garden.
The reason why the owner did not name the crocodile farm, 'Crocodile Farm', might be because it is too common, that's why they have chosen to name it the Rose Garden.
The bus ride from Bangkok takes about nearly 2 hours to reach the Rose Garden.
This is another leisure activity which will bring u out of Bangkok!
Oh and this activity can only be carried out on the weekend. :)
As Thai school takes the whole day.
This is the mini van to the Rose Garden!
This is Mitsu, he is about to faint already ~.~
The entrance to the farm.
We took bus, therefore we need to walk in. as Mitsu wants to go ourselves!!!!!
this the cutie croc
They have many different pond for you to see as they have different breeds there.
having sun tan.
This is the stage.
The performance was good!
The Elephant Show!!!!!
Ok.. this looks a bit R-rated! ;P
But they just wanted to show us how the elephant mate.
In the olden days where elephant were used in war.
This is how they dress and armor up.
This little cutie trying to show us some stunts!
Trunk Stand!
Well.. the elephant stinks! x.x
The cat fishes. Super big!
This monkey is mad! He is trying to break out to bite me.
The Twin Tigers!!!!!
Free photo with the elephants!
We did not have to pay for it.
Mitsu's head looks tasty I guess....
Also, Thai people love driving to the province to dine, as we believe they provides cheap and good food, especially seafood.
Here, you can see Mitsu and I dining at the river side restaurant.
The place offers abundance of cool breeze and fresh air.
Thai people do not mind the distance as long as is cheap and good!!!
this is fishing pro. they use gun to shoot the fish in the river.
This is our bus tickets!!!!
Well, the entrance for the local is 100 bath.
But for foreigners, it is 600 bath!
But I guessed Mitsu looked like a Thai, therefore we saved 500 bath. :P
I will be posting a video I took during the Crocodile Show soon!
Please stay tune to our blog and wait for the amazing videos which I have taken during the show!!!!
Here is pong& susu
Have a great day!!!
